Model United Nations
Model United Nations is an internationally renowned activity that cultivates students’ public speaking, researching, and debate skills in a setting that simulates United Nations conferences. Every year, hundreds of thousands of students worldwide take part in MUNs at all educational levels.
EASMUN owes its success to the institution’s consistent support of the student-based initiative; the continuous efforts in creating connections within different communities; and, of course, the constant drive to make a difference in the world. And none of it would have been possible without our EASMUN family.
As Secretary-General Mariam Walid remarks, “It is always a pleasant surprise to see the number of students that wish to join our family every recruitment cycle. Over the years, we’ve recruited and trained more than sixty delegates, many of which are now delivering powerful speeches and impressive performances at conferences, helping organize the first fundraiser MUN initiative in Alexandria, and, most importantly, gaining timeless experience while having fun!”
